Who is Professor Baica?
Professor Malvina Baica is an algebraic number theorist and an universal algebraist who studied under Jurgen Schmidt (her Ph.D. Advisor at the University of Houston) and Helmut Hasse. H.Hasse, L.Bernstein and L.Carlitz directed her Ph.D. dissertation in Mathematics. Dr. Baica has tackled two difficult problems that have been challenging mathematicians for over 250 years: Fermat's Last Theorem and The Binary Goldbach Problem. Dr. Baica established a new trigonometry named The Paratrigonometry where the original classical trigonometry becomes a particular case of this new paratrigonometry.
This website was created to publish Professor Baica's work in an easily accessible format and present her proofs of some of the most challenging problems in Algrebra and Number Theory using her Generalized Euclidean Algorithm (BGEA) which turned out to be the Euler System of The Algebraic Number Theory.
